Kevin Brown Chief Executive Officer
Prior to Casenet, Mr. Brown founded AMISYS Managed Care Systems, a health insurance information systems provider, where he was president, CEO and chairman of the board. While at AMISYS, he managed and grew the company over 10 years to become the market leader in core claims systems, licensing the AMISYS product to 105 health plans. He later drove the acquisition of Synertech forming ASI, a company of 1,000 employees serving 85 health plans. Upon the acquisition of ASI by DST Systems (NYSE: DST) in November 2006, Mr. Brown served as Chairman of DST’s health industry subsidiary, DST Health Solutions, which serves over 165 payor customers. He currently serves on the board of CareSource Management Company, one of the country’s largest independent Medicaid HMOs. Mr. Brown earned his Bachelor’s degree from City College of New York.
Ruth Rose Senior Vice President Product Development
Ms. Rose has over 30 years experience in clinical nursing, healthcare administration, and care management software development and operations. Prior to Casenet, Ms. Rose served as Vice President, Implementation and Technology for Health Management Corporation (HMC), a wholly owned care management subsidiary of Wellpoint, where she managed a 150-person team that developed and maintained care management applications and operations. Prior to Wellpoint/HMC, Ms. Rose held the role of Vice President of Product Management at ViPS, an Emdeon company. Before VIPs, Ms. Rose served as Vice President of Product Management at Landacorp which was acquired by SHPS. She holds a nursing degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Towson University.
Steve Weiss Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development
Mr. Weiss has over 30 years of technology experience working for both Fortune 100 companies and start-ups. His last 13 years have been in health care, where he worked for companies such as United Healthcare as Chief Information Officer for the Specialized Care Services division, which included Optum Health and United Behavioral Health. Prior to joining Casenet, he was Vice President of Operations for Revolution Health Group, a health and wellness portal provider.
Tony Larson Senior Vice President of Implementation and Customer Services
Mr. Larson has over 22 years of technology experience and successfully building companies in roles spanning client services, sales, marketing, product development, and business development. Prior to Casenet, Mr. Larson served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Verplex Systems where he managed corporate marketing, product management and business development. Verplex was successfully acquired by Cadence Design Systems and Mr. Larson repositioned the product offerings to support a successful corporate integration. Prior to Verplex, Mr. Larson held senior sales and management roles at VA Linux and Synopsys. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Denis E. Liptak Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
For over 30 years Mr. Liptak has provided financial leadership and direction to both public and private corporations. Prior to joining Casenet, Mr. Liptak was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of eCopy where he oversaw Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Manufacturing, Facilities, and IT. Throughout his career he has played an instrumental role in establishing solid financial infrastructures for several successful software companies, including CFO positions at Trellix Corporation, which was sold to Interland, Inc., and Marcam Solutions, which was sold to Invensys, P.L.C.
Matthew Bellantoni Vice President, Application Development
Mr. Bellantoni brings over 17 years of technical and product experience to Casenet. Prior to joining Casenet in 2007, he held roles in engineering and product management at Chrysalis Symbolic Design, iPhrase Technologies, Carbon Design Systems and other early stage companies. Mr. Bellantoni holds a BS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Julie Coviello Vice President of Implementation Services.
Ms. Coviello has over 18 years of experience in healthcare, in both operational and technical roles. Prior to joining Casenet, Ms. Coviello was Vice President of Information Technology at Behavioral Health Network where she lead a full-service IT organization including software development, data management & reporting, user support & training, network administration. Throughout her career Ms. Coviello has been focused on advancing the use of technology to achieve operational efficiency for improvements in profitability and quality.
